For the Christmas season of 2017, I had the chance to illustrate the poem of Carol Ann Duffy about Pablo Picasso’s Christmas in the South of France.
“A sweet winter light blushed
as Pablo Picasso walked with his dog
under the cypress trees
and the bell of the old chapel guessed at the hour.
It was Christmas Eve.”
